Zafofe Privacy Policy

Zafofe Privacy Policy

We maintain this Privacy Policy to explain how the Zafofe mobile app treats information under applicable privacy law. It applies to your use of the app and to privacy requests sent to the operator.

Information We Collect

Information collected through Zafofe depends on how you use the app and what you choose to provide. This may include information, notes, labels, dates, documents, reminders, preferences, and other materials that you enter, save, or generate while using the app. Because user-provided materials can contain personal information about you or other people, you should only add information that you are authorized to provide and manage.

We may also receive technical and usage information from your device or from app platform services. This can include device identifiers, app version, operating system information, language settings, diagnostics, crash reports, interaction events, and general usage records. These records help us understand whether the app works properly and whether privacy, security, or operational obligations need attention.

If you make an in-app purchase, the purchase is handled by the relevant app store or platform payment provider. We may receive purchase confirmations, receipt identifiers, entitlement status, transaction metadata, and related records needed to provide purchased access, maintain records, prevent fraud, and comply with legal or platform requirements. We do not need your full payment card details to process app-store purchases.

When you contact us, we may collect your email address, message content, attachments you choose to send, and related correspondence records. We use these communications to respond to requests, handle privacy matters, and maintain appropriate legal and business records.

How We Use Your Information

Information is used to operate, maintain, and improve Zafofe; provide app functions requested by users; process purchase-related access; respond to communications; monitor performance; correct errors; protect the app and our rights; and comply with legal, tax, accounting, platform, and regulatory obligations.

We may use user-provided content and app records to deliver the app experience, preserve settings or materials, sync or restore information where supported, troubleshoot errors, and help ensure that the app remains reliable. We do not use your materials to make legal, immigration, employment, insurance, or other official decisions about you.

Some processing is necessary to perform our relationship with you, such as providing app access and responding to requests. Other processing may be based on legitimate interests, such as securing the app, improving reliability, preventing misuse, maintaining records, and defending legal claims. Where law requires consent for a specific activity, we rely on consent and honor withdrawal rights as required by applicable law. We may also process information to meet legal obligations or to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

Sharing and Disclosure of Information

Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, storage, analytics, diagnostics, customer communications, security, and app operations. These providers are expected to process information only for authorized purposes and under appropriate confidentiality, security, and data-handling terms.

Purchase-related information may be handled by app stores, payment processors, and platform providers according to their own terms and privacy practices. Those providers may process payment, tax, fraud-prevention, refund, and entitlement information independently from us where their role requires it.

We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, regulator request, or enforceable government demand. Information may also be shared when reasonably necessary to protect users, the app, our rights, security, property, or legal interests. If the app operation or related assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or transfer, relevant information may be included as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

Opt-Out of Data Sharing

You can limit certain sharing by using settings available in your device, app platform account, or operating system. These controls may affect analytics, diagnostics, personalized advertising settings, platform tracking permissions, or other app-level privacy preferences depending on the services available in your region and device environment.

Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of certain disclosures, targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling activities, we will honor valid requests in the manner required by that law. If an app platform provides a consent or tracking control, your selection in that platform environment may be used to apply the relevant preference.

Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Your privacy rights depend on where you live and the laws that apply to your information. These rights may include the ability to request access to personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or review of certain automated processing where such rights are provided by law.

Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom may ask for information about the processing of their personal data and may exercise rights available under applicable data protection law. Our lawful bases may include performance of a contract, consent, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the app, and legal claims where necessary.

Some requests may be limited by legal duties, security needs, fraud-prevention records, app-store records controlled by platform providers, or information that must be retained to protect legal rights. We may need enough information to understand and process a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Data Retention

Retention is tied to the purpose for which the information was collected and to the obligations that apply to the app. Different periods may apply for user-provided materials, technical records, purchase records, correspondence, security logs, and legal records.

User-provided content may remain available until it is removed through app controls, deleted during ordinary use, or no longer needed for the relevant app purpose. Records connected with purchases, diagnostics, compliance, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, or legal claims may be kept for the period needed to satisfy those requirements. After that point, information is deleted, de-identified, or held in a limited form when immediate deletion is not practical.

Security of Your Information

Administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access to information associated with Zafofe. Those safeguards may include access limits, provider oversight, operational controls, secure transmission practices where suitable, and internal procedures for handling privacy or security concerns.

Security cannot be guaranteed for every device, network, storage system, or platform environment. Users should keep device and app-store credentials protected and should avoid adding information they are not authorized to manage. If a security incident requires notice under applicable law, notice will be provided through a legally appropriate method.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy when app operations, legal requirements, platform rules, or privacy practices change. Updated versions will be posted in the app, on our website, or through another reasonable method. When changes are material, we may provide additional notice where required.

Version information: effective date 2026-05-24; last updated 2026-05-24.

Children's Privacy

Zafofe is intended for use by people who have the legal capacity to manage their own app activity or who use the app with appropriate involvement from a parent, guardian, or authorized adult. If a child or minor provides personal information in a way that requires parental consent or other legal authorization, the responsible adult should contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

We do not knowingly seek personal information from minors in circumstances where applicable law requires verifiable parental consent that has not been obtained. If we become aware that information has been provided in a manner inconsistent with applicable child privacy law, we will take appropriate steps to delete or restrict that information.

International Data Transfers

Zafofe may be operated with service providers, infrastructure, and support resources located in different countries. As a result, information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from jurisdictions that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country.

When cross-border transfers require legal safeguards, we use appropriate measures such as contractual protections, platform terms, transfer assessments, or other mechanisms recognized by applicable law. These measures are intended to protect information while allowing the app to be operated, supported, secured, and maintained across regions.
